Spectators: 7605 (Terracing: 5705, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 151) Tabossi's Nemesio Machado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Horacio Iglesias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Machado in the 4th minute. After 10 minutes, Nemesio Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabossi and the VERDOLAGA CITY FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 12 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Mikelar. 14 minutes into the game, VERDOLAGA CITY FC's Iratxo Arizmendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Pagomari made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Iratxo Arizmendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Cristo Pagomari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Salvador Chap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Bartolome Erosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Pagomari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Alejandro Mikelar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tabossi and the VERDOLAGA CITY FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute, Alejandro Mikelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Chap hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iratxo Arizmendi in the 43rd minute of play forced Tabossi's goalkeeper Cristo Pagomari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 45 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Mikelar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolome Erosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Miguel Henric got a free kick in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Tabossi's Cristo Pagomari got control of the ball when Bartolome Erosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristo Pagomari was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bartolome Erosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 56 minute of play. After 60 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Mikelar. Eustaquio Burni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Tabossi's Salvador Chap got a free kick in the 68th minute. Gutxi Veguri struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cristo Pagomari didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VERDOLAGA CITY FC. During the 82nd minute of the match Nemesio Machado completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nemesio Machado a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 83 played minutes Tabossi got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Machado. Eustaquio Burni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Horacio Iglesias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. VERDOLAGA CITY FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
