Spectators: 7579 (Terracing: 5685, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) Islas FC's Camilo Ospetsu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Lothar Gobsch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ernesto Cordero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Islas FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Oscar Mantzio hit a great ball. Fabio Gimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Gimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabio Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lothar Gobsch in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernesto Cordero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Cordero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rurik Atan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Lothar Gobsch put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ernesto Cordero. Gasparo Müller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabio Gimenez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Oscar Mantzio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gasparo Müller. DJK Füchtel Vechta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Mantzio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 27 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Burkhardt Lüpke. In the 31st match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Gimenez to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Gabirel charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Gabirel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 31st minute of the game. One of Islas FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of DJK Füchtel Vechta:s goal. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for DJK Füchtel Vechta. Lothar Gobsch stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ernesto Cordero. 1-3. 39 minutes into the game, Camilo Ospetsu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gasparo Müller. Camilo Ospetsu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Islas FC's Narciso Acevedo was substituted for Fabio Ebardo. After the first half DJK Füchtel Vechta were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lothar Gobsch made a kick off. Gasparo Müller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Paio in the 53rd minute of the match. Ernesto Cordero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 2-4. In the 61st minute Camilo Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gasparo Müller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the DJK Füchtel Vechta defense, Gerardo Paio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gasparo Müller. The DJK Füchtel Vechta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gasparo Müller should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Islas FC booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Rademacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oscar Mantzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Islas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-5. When Rurik Atan came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the DJK Füchtel Vechta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rurik Atan couldn't finish the play.
