Spectators: 7533 (Terracing: 5651, Seating: 1732, VIP seats: 150) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Camilo Ospetsu made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd match minute, Defensores del Albinegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Donostia to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Eyague charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Generoso Eyague the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 8 minutes into the game, one of Defensores del Albinegro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Islas FC's Camilo Ospetsu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Victor Jakes. Camilo Ospetsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Victor Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damaso Donostia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Islas FC's Victor Jakes threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Camilo Ospetsu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victor Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Ospetsu in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Defensores del Albinegro's Victor Jakes got control of the ball when Oscar Mantzio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gerardo Paio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Victor Jakes came out and tried to block the shot, but Gerardo Paio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Islas FC's Camilo Ospetsu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor Jakes. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damaso Donostia to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Islas FC booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Eyague didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Fabio Gimenez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victor Jakes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Defensores del Albinegro booed when Islas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Esiquio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danilo Elija blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernesto Cordero having to make a save. In the 63rd minute Camilo Ospetsu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerardo Paio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, Islas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Gabirel to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Defensores del Albinegro's Cipriano Maore got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Defensores del Albinegro's Niceto Iruinea seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Niceto Iruinea the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Defensores del Albinegro protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Niceto Iruinea had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Islas FC. Camilo Ospetsu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victor Jakes. 4-0. In the 90th minute Gerardo Paio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But to his dismay, Oscar Mantzio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.
