The referee ignored KF Ballistet's protests and gave Sokol Çelaj a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FC Dalin booed when KF Ballistet was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sokol Çelaj didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phùng Nghiêm-Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Besian Tase in the 12th minute of the match. FC Dalin's Phùng Nghiêm-Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlash Tile in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jetbardh Çakulli in the 19th minute of play forced FC Dalin's goalkeeper Phùng Nghiêm-Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the game, FC Dalin's Nguyễn Binh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Liri Bakaj made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Binh cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Liri Bakaj was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 35 played minutes FC Dalin got a freekick which was hit by Hoàng Tuan Hoang. The crowd rose to their feet as KF Ballistet's Vlash Tile slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Phùng Nghiêm-Minh. That made the score 1-2 after 39 minutes of play. In the 44th minute, Nguyễn Hong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half FC Dalin were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xhenit Hysa was the one to do the kick off. FC Dalin's Phùng Nghiêm-Minh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlash Tile in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the game, Trần Duc was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dalin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KF Ballistet the free kick. FC Dalin's Nguyễn Binh got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, KF Ballistet's goalkeeper Liri Bakaj had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trần Duc. After 77 minutes of play, FC Dalin's Nguyễn Binh made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liri Bakaj was left in no man's land by his defense there! Liri Bakaj made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Nguyễn Binh sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Vlash Tile left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KF Ballistet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Vlash Tile struck a weak shot in the 90th minute.
