FC La Masia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marshrose the free kick. Olívio Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Trevisan got free with Frances Tisserand in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The wind increased when Jerold Hooper made the kick off in the second half. Frances Tisserand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Washington Trevisan in the 51st minute of play. One of Marshrose:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC La Masia:s goal. Paulo de Toledo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. If João Paulo Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frances Tisserand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inácio Toledo in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC La Masia's Inácio Toledo got a free kick in the 87th minute. Luiz Fábio Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frances Tisserand having to interfere. Frances Tisserand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Paulo Lucas, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. FC La Masia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
