The coaching staff of GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mustafa Ekrem Ilgın had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Hayrullah Ağcabey came out of the goal and Cezary Buczak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 89 minutes of play, GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Ahmet Bakkalbaşıoğlu made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hayrullah Ağcabey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
