Feliks Sokol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Real Brasília's zone, Leonard Podolski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Branco came out of the goal and Leonard Podolski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25th minute Leonard Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Lato took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Branco. Edmundo Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. FC Wypyszek's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Hílton Salles scored to the left of an out of position Bartosz Kossakowski, making the score, 2-1. After having played for 32 minutes, Jan Lato managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wypyszek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Lato was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Real Brasília defense, Jan Lato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo Branco. The Real Brasília fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo Branco should have stopped the shot. A throw-in in the 37th minute of the game was made by Mikolaj Bazan with Lech Gall as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 44 minutes, Ronaldinho Palmeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Brasília and the FC Wypyszek players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jan Lato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Branco having to interfere. The Real Brasília players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Wypyszek were winning 2-3.
