Real Brasília's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® the free kick. In the 12th minute, Elder Porto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Xencio Ayasti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmundo Branco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hílton Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Xencio Ayasti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 43rd minute, Calisto Armendarez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 48 played minutes Real Brasília got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz de Queiroz. After having played for 49 minutes, Sansone Villandiego managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sansone Villandiego was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calisto Armendarez made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calisto Armendarez in the 54th minute of play forced Real Brasília's goalkeeper Edmundo Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliviero Vados showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Rezende, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Real Brasília getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. André Luiz de Queiroz hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Calisto Armendarez lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Edmundo Branco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calisto Armendarez in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Branco saved Real Brasília from getting behind. When the match clock showed 79 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Calisto Armendarez sped through Real Brasília's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edmundo Branco. Real Brasília's Ronaldinho Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calisto Armendarez in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmundo Branco saved Real Brasília from getting behind. The E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when E L C O K O F C ® E V G ®'s Calisto Armendarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 94 minutes of play, Real Brasília's Raphael Rezende made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oliviero Vados was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Real Brasília getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Tostão Lopes hit a great ball. The supporters of E L C O K O F C ® E V G ® booed when Real Brasília was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball.
