Bálint Jakab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Rezende, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute Hílton Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bálint Jakab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. TUSE's József Simicska got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raphael Rezende scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bálint Jakab, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The attack was good, but when Raphael Rezende in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ronaldinho Palmeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bálint Jakab. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronaldinho Palmeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Ödön Kertész hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Real Brasília's André Luiz de Queiroz tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Real Brasília's Jacinto Neto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Endre Kozma, made in the 21st minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tibor Sipos during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes TUSE got a freekick which was hit by Tibor Sipos. Bálint Jakab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hílton Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bálint Jakab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldinho Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. József Holló hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. József Holló got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tamás Soós. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, József Simicska managed to get in a good position for a shot. TUSE's supporters rose to their feet, but József Simicska was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 minutes, József Holló mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TUSE and the Real Brasília players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Brasília's goalkeeper Edmundo Branco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. During the 69th minute of the match Tibor Sipos completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Tibor Sipos a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, TUSE's Tibor Sipos got a free kick in the 69th minute. If József Simicska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Real Brasília's goal looked a bit too open when József Simicska came free, but Edmundo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. TUSE's supporters crossed their fingers, but József Simicska was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hílton Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
