Spectators: 7515 (Terracing: 5637, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Gustavo Torres in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Coelho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Gustavo Torres in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mathias Coelho saved Capibaribe Stars from getting behind. The attack was good, but when Luiz Gustavo Torres in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Edmílson Silveira hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th match minute, Capibaribe Stars was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeca Cordeiro to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Luiz Gustavo Torres had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathias Coelho. Capibaribe Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Gustavo Torres was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Serginho Koehler hit a great ball. Luiz Gustavo Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute, Zeca Cordeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fiori Sabóia was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 29 minutes into the match. The supporters of Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fiori Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Júlio Barral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathias Coelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dito Severo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 40 minutes, Luiz Gustavo Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Gustavo Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 minutes, Fabinho Vasconcelos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capibaribe Stars and the Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Capibaribe Stars getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Fabinho Vasconcelos hit a great ball. In the 47th minute Luiz Gustavo Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 48 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Vasconcelos. Mathias Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Júlio Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 57 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Vasconcelos. Júlio Barral didn't quite understand what happened when in the 58 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Perivaldo Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Coelho having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Dito Severo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathias Coelho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 68 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Mathias Coelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Gustavo Torres. Fred Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fred Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร booed when Capibaribe Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capibaribe Stars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when Luiz Gustavo Torres scored to the left of an out of position Mathias Coelho, making the score, 0-3. Mathias Coelho made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Dito Severo sent off a good shot on target. Capibaribe Stars's Mathias Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Faustão de Mendonça in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Júlio Barral slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mathias Coelho. That made the score 0-4 after 84 minutes of play. If Luiz Gustavo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Faustão de Mendonça in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. When Zeca Cordeiro fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capibaribe Stars's protests and gave Zeca Cordeiro a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Capibaribe Stars's Zeca Cordeiro got a free kick in the 94th minute. Ⲙσсσсɑ Βᴜꓲꓲร's Júlio Barral shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 95th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Mathias Coelho but with some difficulty.
