Chiquinho de Brito started the match with the kick off. Davy Mexès showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. A collision led to Landulfos FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Chiquinho de Brito hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Landulfos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Émilien Gentilhomme came free, but Nilton Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valette Stars's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cheikh Toullec in the 13th minute. The corner ended in Cheikh Toullec almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Landulfos FC's Nilton Vasconcelos did a great save. The supporters of Landulfos FC booed when Valette Stars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cheikh Toullec didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Vicente Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilton Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Mérigot in the 21st minute of play. Nilton Vasconcelos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorien Jaulin, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 29 minutes, Cheikh Toullec mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valette Stars and the Landulfos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cheikh Toullec kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, João Mattos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Davy Mexès. João Mattos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 36th minute, Vicente Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Valette Stars booed when Landulfos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nilton Vasconcelos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Youssef Martineau went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

55 minutes into the match, Émilien Gentilhomme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nilton Vasconcelos, 1-2. Noureddine Roudil hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Valette Stars's Victorien Jaulin got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Youssef Martineau had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilton Vasconcelos. Landulfos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Youssef Martineau was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Nico de Amorim hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Émilien Gentilhomme struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nilton Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valette Stars. Landulfos FC's Nilton Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorien Jaulin in the 98th minute of play.
