Jorge De Pedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dario Opilano having to interfere. Luis Gamus struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Micael Castelao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Copetonas AFC. After 9 minutes of play, Copetonas AFC's Clodoveo Roldan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Micael Castelao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dario Opilano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge De Pedro in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Beremundo Herrera came free, but Dario Opilano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Luis Gamus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Copetonas AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 21 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Roldan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Micael Castelao. Real Club Celta de Vigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Roldan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge De Pedro in the 27th minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Dario Opilano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Jorge De Pedro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dario Opilano was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Dario Opilano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orti Machado in the 31st minute of the match. Anier Benvido was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, one of Copetonas AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Copetonas AFC. Dario Opilano had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Ray Marrero's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Micael Castelao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Onofre in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge De Pedro in the 41st minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Dario Opilano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Micael Castelao came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Copetonas AFC's Clodoveo Roldan. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Roldan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. In the 47th minute, Beremundo Herrera reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dario Opilano. The goal made the score 3-4.

If Clodoveo Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute, Copetonas AFC's Clodoveo Roldan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-5. Dario Opilano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beremundo Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Copetonas AFC's Dario Opilano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orti Machado in the 71st minute of play. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Micael Castelao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Gamus in the 76th minute of play. Copetonas AFC's Dario Opilano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ray Marrero in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Frodo Acarreta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-5. Dario Opilano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Calvino Ponte's late challenge caught a Copetonas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calvino Ponte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th match minute, Real Club Celta de Vigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvino Ponte to maneuver through the defense. Micael Castelao was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tadeo Txeru. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
