The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabien Lafont showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Aleksander Martinsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tjorven Demeester. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aleksander Martinsson ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Polly Magoo Juniors's Jörgen Nordin got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute of the match, Sebastian Ekberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tjorven Demeester saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Polly Magoo Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Walmarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's Sebastian Ekberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjorven Demeester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 32 minutes, Bo Walmarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polly Magoo Juniors and the VC zoetwater players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Bo Walmarsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polly Magoo Juniors's Fabien Lafont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Aelgoet in the 42nd minute of play. Pieter-Jan Godts charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pieter-Jan Godts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pieter-Jan Godts hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Fabien Lafont made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel Toussain in the 52nd minute. Fabien Lafont made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Aelgoet in the 54th minute of play. Matthieu Govaerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Fabien Lafont made a huge save. In the 60th minute Bobby Aelgoet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Lafont saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Bobby Aelgoet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabien Lafont. Bobby Aelgoet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Polly Magoo Juniors's Fabien Lafont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Polly Magoo Juniors from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobby Aelgoet in the 68th minute of play forced Polly Magoo Juniors's goalkeeper Fabien Lafont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabien Lafont was a little too slow when Bobby Aelgoet got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-3. Polly Magoo Juniors's Fabien Lafont proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Polly Magoo Juniors from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute of the match VC zoetwater got a corner. Polly Magoo Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tim-Jan Maeijnaerts ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Tim-Jan Maeijnaerts almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Polly Magoo Juniors's Fabien Lafont did a great save. In the 84th minute, Bobby Aelgoet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabien Lafont. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 87th play minute Bobby Aelgoet came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Fabien Lafont. 0-6. Fabien Lafont made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Samuel Toussain sent off a good shot on target. In the 92ndth minute of the game Samuel Toussain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polly Magoo Juniors's Fabien Lafont was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Aleksander Martinsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
