Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) Valiant F.C's Steve Whalley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mauro Bikendi charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mauro Bikendi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Mauro Bikendi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Cresconio might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barrie Emberson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victorio Cresconio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 6th minute Victorio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barrie Emberson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barrie Emberson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Victorio Cresconio went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Arturo Rumaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steve Whalley, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Arturo Rumaldo was a little too slow when Charles Windsor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-1. Steve Whalley took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arturo Rumaldo. Arturo Rumaldo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Victorio Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Barrie Emberson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Windsor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Arturo Rumaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Victorio Cresconio made a kick off. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Teodoro Ascencio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Freddy Duggan, made in the 52nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Victorio Cresconio took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Barrie Emberson to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Whalley in the 66th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Arturo Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 played minutes Valiant F.C got a freekick which was hit by Rex Hatcher. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Richardson in the 75th minute of play forced Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Arturo Rumaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marty Richardson scored 3-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arturo Rumaldo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marty Richardson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arturo Rumaldo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Cresconio in the 83rd minute of play forced Valiant F.C's goalkeeper Barrie Emberson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Tadeo Cisco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valiant F.C the free kick. A collision led to Belgrano LOS PIRATAS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Tadeo Cisco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Valiant F.C's zone, Victorio Cresconio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Barrie Emberson came out of the goal and Victorio Cresconio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 92 played minutes Valiant F.C got a freekick which was hit by Steve Whalley.
