The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicanor Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Luuk Harmannus in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Mauro Bikendi. After 7 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Ferdinand. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's zone, Henk Pieters stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Rumaldo came out of the goal and Henk Pieters tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gert Warneke's late challenge caught a Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gert Warneke helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Gert Warneke got a free kick in the 14th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's goalkeeper Arturo Rumaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rien Bakker. Teodoro Ascencio hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Henk Pieters couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Belgrano LOS PIRATAS. When Nicanor Orland was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 25 minutes had been played. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jacob Scheerhoorn was substituted for Izaak Struik. Rien Bakker kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Cresconio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorio Cresconio to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Roelof van Kampen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Rumaldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the game, Rien Bakker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Arturo Rumaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arturo Rumaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derk van Boxel in the 58th minute of the match. Taco Zwartkruis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano LOS PIRATAS. In the 90th minute, Derk van Boxel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arturo Rumaldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. In the 94th minute, Alejandro Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Derk van Boxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
