Carboncito's players were relieved. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jack Truchet sped through Carboncito's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Javier Bastian. Jack Truchet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jack Truchet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Javier Bastian having to make a save. Rodrigo Romelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustin Payan having to interfere. Javier Bastian came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Le Stade Briochin UC's Gaël Pillot. But to his dismay, Gaël Pillot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Javier Bastian made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Jack Truchet sent off a good shot on target. Faustin Payan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Romelio in the 35th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Truchet got free with Javier Bastian in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Le Stade Briochin UC's Yannick Miquel was substituted for Abraham Hudry. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Romelio got free with Faustin Payan in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruperto Corderall struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Faustin Payan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carboncito. Javier Bastian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Truchet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute Jack Truchet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Bastian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
