The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Idalécio Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Tajo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, BARRILETE COSMICO's Silvano Bazkoare ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Idalécio Rego. Idalécio Rego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Silvano Bazkoare could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Idalécio Rego made a huge save. Denis Seguinus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Perdigão, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 16 played minutes BARRILETE COSMICO got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Socorro. Ivan Prada struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Denis Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shiba & Doge Club™. In a very dangerous position, a player in Shiba & Doge Club™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 21 minutes, BARRILETE COSMICO's Silvano Bazkoare got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Idalécio Rego. 23 minutes into the game, Shiba & Doge Club™'s Flávio Perdigão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Seguinus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Albérico Santarém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Shiba & Doge Club™ booed when BARRILETE COSMICO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Gonsalvo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Prada took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Denis Seguinus. BARRILETE COSMICO's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Denis Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Perdigão in the 40th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Bazkoare made a kick off. After 50 played minutes Shiba & Doge Club™ got a freekick which was hit by Veríssimo Rios. Idalécio Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Gonsalvo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 53rd minute Osvaldo Gonsalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Idalécio Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Shiba & Doge Club™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabino Araújo to maneuver through the defense. In the last second Denis Seguinus throw himself and got hold of the ball when Flávio Perdigão in the 67thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Idalécio Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Gonsalvo in the 69th minute of the match. Denis Seguinus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Flávio Perdigão's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Albérico Santarém fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Seguinus having to interfere. Osvaldo Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Alfonso Tonio took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Idalécio Rego. Idalécio Rego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. After having played for 95 minutes, Guaberto Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BARRILETE COSMICO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Bras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The BARRILETE COSMICO support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
