Zagłębie Dąbrowskie were furious when Jaroslaw Nigbor was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 44 minutes into the game, one of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave PLUMIN a penalty, 47 minutes into the game. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Janusz Raszkiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Zagłębie Dąbrowskie booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goal looked a bit too open when Wiktor Wierzchowski came free, but Albano Medardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Guillermo Quinteros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucjan Oborski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Carmelo Astrada. PLUMIN's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
