Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Augusto Cerri got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Mauricio Nuñez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Hyblae FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonello Mannella. Ettore Topatigh's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 10thth minute, Federico Salvidor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 15th minute, Club El Progreso's Mauricio Nuñez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mauricio Nuñez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club El Progreso protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mauricio Nuñez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Federico Salvidor, was totally fooled by Hyblae FC's Augusto Cerri, who 16 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 19 played minutes Hyblae FC got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Goffredo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blas Telesforo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dennis Ciarrocchi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club El Progreso were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Hyblae FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pascual Gomesano took the corner. The corner ended in Cayetano Brion almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hyblae FC's Dennis Ciarrocchi did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Brion in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dennis Ciarrocchi saved Hyblae FC from getting behind. After having played for 27 minutes, Augusto Cerri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hyblae FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Cerri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Topatigh in the 29th minute of play forced Club El Progreso's goalkeeper Federico Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Teobaldo Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Club El Progreso's zone, Augusto Cerri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Salvidor came out of the goal and Augusto Cerri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 46 played minutes Club El Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Blas Telesforo. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Blas Telesforo to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Topatigh came free, but Federico Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Ettore Topatigh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hyblae FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Hyblae FC's Dennis Ciarrocchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Telesforo in the 56th minute of play. If Augusto Cerri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 minutes, Blas Telesforo made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Hyblae FC's Dennis Ciarrocchi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Federico Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Rosetta, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Club El Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Cerri came free, but Federico Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augusto Cerri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute Augusto Cerri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Cerri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hyblae FC's Augusto Cerri in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club El Progreso's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Club El Progreso getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Igor Birjaio hit a great ball. Hyblae FC's Fulvio Goffredo got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 90thth minute of the game Blas Telesforo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hyblae FC's Dennis Ciarrocchi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ettore Topatigh hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Pascual Gomesano from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Dennis Ciarrocchi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hyblae FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club El Progreso had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
