The referee ignored Guadalupe FC's protests and gave Sandrinho de Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC's Diamantino Soeiro made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Escobedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Gunn to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes, Guadalupe FC's Maicon da Silva shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnoldo Escobedo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guadalupe FC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Brooklyn SC's zone, Diamantino Soeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Escobedo came out of the goal and Diamantino Soeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellington de Carvalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Kelley in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC's goalkeeper Wellington de Carvalho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Kelley. Arnoldo Escobedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hugo Kelley hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Custódio in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Escobedo saved Brooklyn SC from getting behind. Brooklyn SC's Arnoldo Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Matos in the 31st minute of play. Sandrinho de Amorim hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. The Brooklyn SC fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Brooklyn SC's Cristopher Saenz looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aaron Gunn kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Wellington de Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristopher Saenz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristopher Saenz helped the player get up and apologised. With his leg Arnoldo Escobedo managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Guadalupe FC's Edgard Custódio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Brooklyn SC's Arnoldo Escobedo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Brooklyn SC from getting a goal against them. Wellington de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titus Holland in the 71st minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Titus Holland notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Guadalupe FC's Wellington de Carvalho. Wellington de Carvalho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, Cristopher Saenz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellington de Carvalho. Guadalupe FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristopher Saenz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. In the 81stth minute of the game Edgard Custódio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brooklyn SC's Arnoldo Escobedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 82 minutes, the score became 4-3 when Sandrinho de Amorim sped through Brooklyn SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Escobedo. In the 88th match minute, Guadalupe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Cristopher Saenz scored 5-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wellington de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 96 minutes, Edgard Custódio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guadalupe FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgard Custódio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Brooklyn SC fully deserved thier win.
