Federico Salvidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristopher Saenz's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Federico Salvidor made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Cristopher Saenz sent off a good shot on target. An unexpected shot in the 8th minute by Raymundo Hammond got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Hugo Kelley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 12 in the game by Cristopher Saenz from a close distance when the talented Federico Salvidor managed to make a qualified save. Club El Progreso's players were relieved. After having played for 16 minutes, Titus Holland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brooklyn SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Titus Holland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Cristopher Saenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brooklyn SC were furious when Junior Khan was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Brooklyn SC! Arnoldo Escobedo had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Pascual Gomesano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Rubén Ramon took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Escobedo. Arnoldo Escobedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Titus Holland got free with Federico Salvidor in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Blas Telesforo made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Brooklyn SC's Arnoldo Escobedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnoldo Escobedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubén Ramon, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Titus Holland to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Club El Progreso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Telesforo to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Kelley during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 minutes of play, Club El Progreso's Blas Telesforo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Escobedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubén Ramon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Escobedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Hugo Kelley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blas Telesforos short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Arnoldo Escobedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brooklyn SC's Arnoldo Escobedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Gomesano in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Igor Birjaio got free with Arnoldo Escobedo in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Club El Progreso's Rubén Ramon in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brooklyn SC's goalie prevented a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Escobedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Igor Birjaio. Arnoldo Escobedo came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Club El Progreso's Blas Telesforo. But to his dismay, Blas Telesforo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.
