The audience was convinced that Sali Urban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Bassani was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the game, Dino Saraceni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aversa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aversa's Dino Saraceni got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 19th minute, Dino Saraceni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Concetto Betti fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aversa's protests and gave Concetto Betti a yellow card for diving instead. Concetto Betti hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Bruno Castrucci hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG booed when Aversa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Castrucci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dave Bassani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Etienne Van Thomme in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sali Urban was the one to do the kick off. Dave Bassani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sali Urban in the 55th minute of play. Jan-Oliver Reinke came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Aversa's Bruno Castrucci. But to his dismay, Bruno Castrucci quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The supporters of Aversa booed when ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sali Urban didn't get a good kick on the ball. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's Roland Bartek was substituted for Arnold Diekelmann. In the 70th match minute, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sali Urban to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Concetto Betti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan-Oliver Reinke. ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Concetto Betti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. When Armin Panza came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Aversa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Panza couldn't finish the play. Dave Bassani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sali Urban in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, ΔΓЅΣ∏ ΔLLΔ ∏GΣGG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Quacken to maneuver through the defense.
