Picanya FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Utopía Muerta FC the free kick. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Dalmai Sanz hit a great ball. Picanya FC's Zabal Incera got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 14 minutes into the game, Joel Alcantara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Severo Sustrai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Picanya FC's Ramón Mezquita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Picanya FC from getting a goal against them. Ramón Mezquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Valente in the 19th minute of play. Narciso Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Joel Alcantara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 45 minutes, Narciso Fix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utopía Muerta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Fix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Fix made a kick off. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Isaac Pascua hit a great ball. Victorio Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Utopía Muerta FC's Uriel Beat was substituted for Narciso Fix. Utopía Muerta FC's Ruperto Cayo was substituted for Jonas Socorro. A collision led to Picanya FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Quico Radaban hit a great ball. Ramón Mezquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruperto Cayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmai Sanz might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severo Sustrai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dalmai Sanz ran back to his position shaking his head. Zabal Incera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quico Radaban charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quico Radaban the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Joel Alcantara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Ruperto Cayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 92nd minute Uriel Beat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramón Mezquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
