After 20 minutes, Jolan Bayol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tours Football Club and the Joinville Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Jolan Bayol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute, Tours Football Club's Blaise Alcaraz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Matheo Mareau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Favoretto in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute of the match Joinville Esporte Clube got a corner. Tours Football Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Renatinho Favoretto ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcel Singer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Montenegro having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Célio Torres put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Joinville Esporte Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Wellington Montenegro had in the 36thth minute some difficulties stopping Willy Sauvestre's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 42nd minute, Marcel Singer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wellington Montenegro. The goal made the score 4-0. In the 46th minute, Tours Football Club's Marcel Singer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gonçalo Catarinense to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Joinville Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Singer came free, but Wellington Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute, Marcel Singer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tours Football Club's Matheo Mareau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Aguiar in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Marcel Singer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Deivid Vaz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Tours Football Club's Matheo Mareau. Matheo Mareau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joinville Esporte Clube's Gonçalo Catarinense was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Wellington Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Singer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Murillo Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tours Football Club booed when Joinville Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Singer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robin Afonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Wellington Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville Esporte Clube's zone, Robin Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wellington Montenegro came out of the goal and Robin Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marcel Singer came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Tours Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Singer couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Robin Afonso notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Joinville Esporte Clube's Wellington Montenegro. Wellington Montenegro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 95 minutes, Robin Afonso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tours Football Club and the Joinville Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robin Afonso hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
