The crowd rose to their feet as LA LUZ F.C.'s Gualterio Quilo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Quico. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. After some careless play in the LA LUZ F.C. defense, Lucas Hanni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Baudelio. The LA LUZ F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Baudelio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Hanni in the 27th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Dalmacio Baudelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee showed Fabricio Gaur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to LA LUZ F.C. getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Fabricio Gaur hit a great ball. Celtic FC's Angelo Quico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Fonda in the 45th minute of play. Humberto Barrionuevo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Angelo Quico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Flavio Galo replaced Domingo Bermund. LA LUZ F.C.'s Silvano Chorache was substituted for Fabricio Gaur. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jimeno Pitin was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Fonda in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Angelo Quico saved Celtic FC from getting behind. Angelo Quico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Fonda in the 58th minute of the match. Angelo Quico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Fonda in the 59th minute of play. Angelo Quico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Armando Fidele's late challenge caught a LA LUZ F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Fidele helped the player get up and apologised. Humberto Barrionuevo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Marcelo Vellito kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Lucas Hanni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celtic FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Hanni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Celtic FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Leo Gonsalvo hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LA LUZ F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Celtic FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
