The mood of the audience was pleasant when Carlos Platon made the kick off which started today's match. Natalio Mitxaut made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Kim Alnes sent off a good shot on target. Christoffer Jørgensen came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by 1989 Blxsk's Carlos Platon. But to his dismay, Carlos Platon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the game, Jack Huse was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Åsnes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1989 Blxsk the free kick. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Jack Huse got a free kick in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kim Alnes got free with Natalio Mitxaut in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Huse took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natalio Mitxaut. 1989 Blxsk's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 12 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Aurre. Christoffer Jørgensen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Bernad in the 16th minute of the match. Jonathan Vie's late challenge caught a 1989 Blxsk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Vie helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Åsnes's Jonathan Vie got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Carlos Platon managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1989 Blxsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Platon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Jørgensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Niceto Bernad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Carlos Platon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Åsnes's Christoffer Jørgensen. Christoffer Jørgensen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Christoffer Jørgensen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niceto Bernad's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Åsnes's Ådne Ottersen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Mitxaut narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christoffer Jørgensen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Bernad, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 41st minute, Jonathan Vie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Albert Pani managed to get in a good position for a shot. 1989 Blxsk's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Pani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Jørgensen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half 1989 Blxsk were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

1989 Blxsk made a substitution. Blas Burni replaced Rolando Steven. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kim Alnes was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Dan Ødegaard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natalio Mitxaut was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After 58 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Nicol Montoro. Natalio Mitxaut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kim Alnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 73rd minute, Jack Huse sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 1989 Blxsk's Natalio Mitxaut didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicol Montoro during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nicol Montoro kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Dan Ødegaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Endre Svensen charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Endre Svensen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Åsnes got a freekick which was hit by Endre Svensen. Carlos Platon struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Christoffer Jørgensen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 1989 Blxsk. When Daniel Lugo came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the 1989 Blxsk fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Lugo couldn't finish the play. In the 92nd minute Morten Sundseth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natalio Mitxaut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
