Rudolph Thurman started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Rudolph Thurman managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 10th minute, Sven-Ove Fernkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jon Östlund kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 22 minutes, Patric Eliasson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kingpins and the El Canalla de Chicago players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kingpins getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Andy Beckman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolph Thurman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Jon Östlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonah Peck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, El Canalla de Chicago's Monty Stout made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andy Beckman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jonah Peck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Fernkvist in the 38th minute of play. Clark Lindsey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andy Beckman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play.

The wind increased when Gilbert Kleen made the kick off in the second half. James Uribe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. In the 64th match minute, Kingpins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Fernkvist to maneuver through the defense. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution.
