Jorge Handi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jefferson Braga struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Desiderio Alvarez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Versa FC. Carlos Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio César having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Vito in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio César prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Vito in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio César saved Real Versa FC from getting behind. When Desiderio Vito came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Black Rose 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Vito couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Desiderio Vito sped through Real Versa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Júlio César. Desiderio Vito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Júlio César skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Júlio César took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Vito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Alvarez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válter Trigo in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christiano Arruda in the 29th minute of play forced Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Desiderio Alvarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Desiderio Vito lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Júlio César. In the 44th minute, Carlos Malvin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Júlio César. The goal made the score 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Real Versa FC's Júlio César played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Vito in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Real Versa FC's Christiano Arruda got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Vito to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Vito in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Júlio César prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júlio César showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Richie in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Real Versa FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Samuel de Moraes hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the game, Samuel de Moraes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Versa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Rose 1979 the free kick. A collision led to Real Versa FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Samuel de Moraes hit a great ball. Real Versa FC's Benedito Pontes was substituted for Mazinho Dias. Samuel de Moraes hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Desiderio Alvarez came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Versa FC's Jefferson Braga. But to his dismay, Jefferson Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 84th minute Desiderio Vito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Júlio César saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Trigo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Desiderio Alvarez came out and tried to block the shot, but Válter Trigo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 87th minute. The Black Rose 1979 fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Black Rose 1979's Desiderio Vito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
