In the 28th minute, Garry Beaver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wesley Kerr showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Gutxi in the 29th minute of the match. When Oscar Montel fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ullún's protests and gave Oscar Montel a yellow card for diving instead. The Valencia C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Valencia C.F.'s Mário Kempes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute, Roman Bento reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wesley Kerr. The goal made the score 1-2. Ullún's Joel Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Silva in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, David Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Lilley's late challenge caught a Ullún's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Lilley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Daniel Lilley got a free kick in the 45th minute.

In the 57th minute of the match, Mário Kempes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Joel Mingo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 67 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Garry Beaver made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Mingo was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Ullún's Joel Mingo got control of the ball when Sean Deighton tried to sneak it across the goal line. Efrain Frances kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Joel Mingo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Zackary Jenkins. Garry Beaver's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joel Mingo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Garry Beaver got a free kick in the 80th minute. Joel Mingo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mário Kempes's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 96th minute Roman Bento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Kerr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Valencia C.F. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
