The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Iordache Stelian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ABK Black Warriors73 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of ABK Black Warriors73 booed when EL PEPO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ABK Black Warriors73 getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Daniel Călinescu hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Samuel Sotero got free with Leontin Măgurean in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 18 played minutes ABK Black Warriors73 got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Hurdubețiu. After having played for 19 minutes, Rafael Clodio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL PEPO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Clodio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Salvino hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Felix Iuonaș's late challenge caught a EL PEPO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Iuonaș helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th minute, Felix Iuonaș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leontin Măgurean made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Rafael Clodio sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Leontin Măgurean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Rafael Clodio made a precise shot to the right of Leontin Măgurean. ABK Black Warriors73's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Leontin Măgurean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Clodio in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Augustin Mirea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Afonso. EL PEPO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augustin Mirea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Herminio Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Pantea, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the game, Samuel Sotero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Leontin Măgurean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the game, Maximo Bide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL PEPO FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ABK Black Warriors73 the free kick. After a rather tough play, EL PEPO FC's Maximo Bide got a free kick in the 58th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Anibal Beltxe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Leontin Măgurean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. EL PEPO FC's Mariano Noe was substituted for Samuel Sotero. EL PEPO FC's Herminio Afonso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Mirea in the 86th minute of play. Leontin Măgurean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Clodio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gigel Pantea kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the EL PEPO FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
