The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jean de Barros helped the player get up and apologised. 10 minutes into the game, Luizão Bocanegra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jacinto Neto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 played minutes A.A. Francana got a freekick which was hit by Armando Orlando. In the 20th minute, Denílson Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the A.A. Francana defense, Carlos Alberto de Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Cassia. The A.A. Francana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Cassia should have stopped the shot. Jacinto Neto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luizão Bocanegra went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When A.A. Wilson Cassia acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kauã Lira. In the 41st minute Carlos Alberto de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Cassia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Carlos Alberto de Sousa notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of A.A. Francana's Wilson Cassia. Wilson Cassia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, A.A. Francana's Luizão Bocanegra got a free kick in the 45th minute. Wilson Cassia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Futbol Club RRFV's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Jean de Barros scored to the left of an out of position Jacinto Neto, making the score, 2-3. 63 minutes into the match, Kauã Lira notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of A.A. Francana's Wilson Cassia. Wilson Cassia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilson Cassia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto de Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kiko Santos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacinto Neto came out and tried to block the shot, but Kiko Santos slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 83rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as A.A. Francana's Armando Orlando slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacinto Neto. That made the score 3-5 after 89 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Futbol Club RRFV's Egídio Dracena got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle sounded A.A. Francana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Futbol Club RRFV.
