Cido Meireles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rune Olsson in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Pirajiba's goalkeeper Cido Meireles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roy Odman. 16 minutes into the match, FC Blåvitt's goal looked a bit too open when Nelson de Queiroz came free, but Vincent Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rune Wickander charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Wickander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 17 played minutes FC Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Rune Wickander. In the 18th minute Nelson de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincent Ek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 played minutes Pirajiba got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Coutinho. Rune Olsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cido Meireles made a huge save. In the 23rd minute Stig-Åke Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cido Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cido Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Odman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Roy Odman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pirajiba booed when FC Blåvitt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Asplund didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Pirajiba's Cido Meireles got control of the ball when Roy Odman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rune Olsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cido Meireles having to interfere. If Roy Odman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes FC Blåvitt got a freekick which was hit by Ture Asplund. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rune Olsson made the kick off in the second half. Herman Kihlberg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Roy Odman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nelson de Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aron Blanck got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Anton Ahlstedt. Deivid Bueno hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Pirajiba's goal looked a bit too open when Fritz Vassenius came free, but Cido Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roy Odman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Pirajiba's Sydney Cearense got a free kick in the 80th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Reginaldo Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirajiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reginaldo Coutinho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pirajiba's Cido Meireles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rune Olsson in the 94th minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Roy Odman notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Pirajiba's Cido Meireles. Cido Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
