Spectators: 7686 (Terracing: 5765, Seating: 1768, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nikola Alvaro started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Nikola Alvaro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sarmiento de Resistencia's Filomeno Tirso. Filomeno Tirso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Piorno Bazarra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Tirso having to interfere. Juan José López kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Sarmiento. In the 15th minute Nikola Alvaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Tirso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Juan José López in the 18th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. With a little luck, Penuel Football Club's Victorio Detres got control of the ball when Cesar Lekubegi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filomeno Tirso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Piorno Bazarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Sarmiento de Resistencia booed when Penuel Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eutor Ulibarri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Rafel Mejia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Bernabe George came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sarmiento de Resistencia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernabe George couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes Sarmiento de Resistencia got a freekick which was hit by Roque Totakoxe. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento de Resistencia's zone, Nikola Alvaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Tirso came out of the goal and Nikola Alvaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 33 minutes of play, Penuel Football Club's Nikola Alvaro made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filomeno Tirso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filomeno Tirso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikola Alvaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafel Mejia hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half Penuel Football Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Juan José López fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filomeno Tirso having to interfere. Juan José López in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Filomeno Tirso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nikola Alvaro struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Filomeno Tirso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penuel Football Club. Nikola Alvaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Filomeno Tirso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorio Detres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Bitxintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 68 minutes, Juan José López managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penuel Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan José López was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Sarmiento to maneuver through the defense. Penuel Football Club's Faron Cenal was substituted for Nikola Alvaro. Penuel Football Club's Gaston Mielgo was substituted for Ambrosio Descarrega. In the 74th minute, Faron Cenal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penuel Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Juan José López came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Filomeno Tirso could save by the left post. A collision led to Sarmiento de Resistencia getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Simon Criston hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faron Cenal in the 82nd minute of play forced Sarmiento de Resistencia's goalkeeper Filomeno Tirso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Sarmiento de Resistencia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Criston to maneuver through the defense. Faron Cenal might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Tirso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Faron Cenal ran back to his position shaking his head. After 92 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Faron Cenal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Penuel Football Club had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
