After 27 minutes of play OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Fernando Pirani was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. Tony Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Fantini in the 32nd minute of the match. With an all-out effort, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's Tony Terra threw himself towards the right post 33 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arí Fantini, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Santos da Bahia Fc booed when OTTO FC - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Magalhães didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bala Mole to make the kick off. Wellington Matos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bala Mole got free with Wellington Matos in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wellington Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bala Mole in the 84th minute of play. Bala Mole in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wellington Matos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 93 minutes into the match, OTTO FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Wellington Matos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fernandão Penha. The Santos da Bahia Fc players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
