A collision led to AC Superstar getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sture Ström hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Craig Hack put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Charles Johansson. After a rather tough play, AC Superstar's Sven Söderberg got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, AC Superstar's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Eklund came free, but Charles Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sture Ström in the 31st minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Jimmie Lundberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Göran Ingemarsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jimmie Lundberg could save by the left post. Jimmie Lundberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vidar Spetz in the 39th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sture Ström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jimmie Lundberg. That made the score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Göran Ingemarsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jimmie Lundberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th minute of the match Mörknäs Electric Vikings got a corner. AC Superstar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Örjan Hybbert ran over to the corner to take the kick. Örjan Hybbert made a great header on Mörknäs Electric Vikings's corner, it was just that AC Superstar's Charles Johansson managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt Eklund to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, AC Superstar's goal looked a bit too open when André Hammarbäck came free, but Charles Johansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bengt Eklund got free with Charles Johansson in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ragner Roland during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AC Superstar's Hans Törnblom was substituted for Roland Nyberg. After 65 played minutes Mörknäs Electric Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Ragner Roland. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Jimmie Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Ström in the 69th minute of play. AC Superstar's Charles Johansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt Eklund in the 72nd minute of play. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Örjan Hybbert shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 74th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Charles Johansson but with some difficulty. 79 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Törnblom came free, but Jimmie Lundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Jimmie Lundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sture Ström in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Claes Hedlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Hans Törnblom ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimmie Lundberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mörknäs Electric Vikings players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Superstar.
