The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Edur got free with Israel Vergaray in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute, Victorio Hermon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Haroldo Edur charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Edur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Berutti FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Edur to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Higinio Illan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fausto Argider was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. If Haroldo Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Bibiano hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jaime Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 17 minutes into the match, Berutti FC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Illan came free, but Fausto Argider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes, Generoso Bonifaco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nahitantino and the Berutti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Generoso Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Nahitantino got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Bonifaco. In the 21st minute, Ciro Conrao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Argider didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Higinio Illan went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 30th minute, Primitivo Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Higinio Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Fausto Argider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Argider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Guillelme in the 36th minute of play. Clodoveo Caetano hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, Nahitantino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ladislao Paio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Antonio Gora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berutti FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Gora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Vergaray breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Serafin James shot from long distance after 45 played minutes, a shot that Israel Vergaray with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Higinio Illan sped through Berutti FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fausto Argider.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Illan made a kick off. A collision led to Berutti FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Ciro Conrao hit a great ball. Israel Vergaray came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Berutti FC's Haroldo Edur. But to his dismay, Haroldo Edur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Dantae in the 68th minute of play forced Nahitantino's goalkeeper Israel Vergaray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Nahitantino getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Higinio Illan hit a great ball. Nahitantino's Saturnino Clementi was substituted for Primitivo Bibiano. Nahitantino's Simon Berbiz was substituted for Abelardo Primeiro. In the 76th minute, Higinio Illan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute, Generoso Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Dantae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Israel Vergaray having to interfere. Berutti FC's Fausto Argider proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Berutti FC from getting a goal against them. Serafin James sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Berutti FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
