Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erasmo Oihan in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emiliano Urdin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Acratas Unidos getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Genaro Odol hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tomas Avellaneda tried to score from far away in the 10th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Patricio Frechoso scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Urdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramiro Domeka charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Domeka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Patricio Frechoso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emiliano Urdin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Ricardo Sandalio fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's protests and gave Ricardo Sandalio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricardo Sandalio to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA defense, Patricio Frechoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Urdin. The ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Urdin should have stopped the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patricio Frechoso made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Frechoso to maneuver through the defense. Gabriel Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candido Quinteros having to interfere. Emiliano Urdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Frechoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Patricio Frechoso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Emiliano Urdin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 68 minutes, Ricardo Weterio made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. After a defensive mix-up in Acratas Unidos's zone, Tomas Avellaneda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Candido Quinteros came out of the goal and Tomas Avellaneda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Weterio's late challenge caught a Acratas Unidos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Weterio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, Ricardo Weterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cecilio Felipillo got free with Emiliano Urdin in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aurelio Osorio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Emiliano Urdin made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Placido Ilazki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acratas Unidos's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
