Singlar Club FC's Diegotxe Maradona got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Octav Mergea hit a great ball. Eric Venero scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luca Corcoveanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Octav Mergea managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Mergea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zeledon Polentzi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute of the match, Marius Cănănău got a very nice opportunity to score, but Zeledon Polentzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 20th minute FC Steaua Pildesti were awarded a corner. Răzvan Petrescu went to the cornerflag to take it. Eric Venero hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. A collision led to Singlar Club FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Juan Cannone hit a great ball. Singlar Club FC's Zeledon Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Cănănău in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Răzvan Petrescu to maneuver through the defense. After 32 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Rareș Ficsinescu. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Eric Venero put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Luca Corcoveanu. Luca Corcoveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Cannone in the 36th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Răzvan Petrescu got a free kick in the 40th minute. Diegotxe Maradona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Corcoveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Venero, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Eric Venero made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Octav Mergea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Steaua Pildesti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Mergea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute, Edgard Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Singlar Club FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Roque Kimetz hit a great ball. If Marius Cănănău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Steaua Pildesti's Adam Buș got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeledon Polentzi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Roşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Singlar Club FC's Zeledon Polentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marius Cănănău in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Steaua Pildesti's Luca Corcoveanu got control of the ball when Diegotxe Maradona tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Steaua Pildesti's Rareș Ficsinescu got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Octav Mergea hit a great ball. Luca Corcoveanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eric Venero's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The FC Steaua Pildesti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Singlar Club FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Singlar Club FC.
