With a little luck, Swift GTi FDC's Fernan Frade got control of the ball when Hannes De Koq tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th minute Reinaud Goegebeur shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Frade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute, Reinaud Goegebeur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 played minutes Swift GTi FDC got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Villayres. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Ruesga in the 23rd minute of play forced Groove Athletic's goalkeeper Evert Visch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match, Mattijs Van der Vloedt tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernan Frade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 40 minutes into the match, Groove Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Gasteiz Ruesga came free, but Evert Visch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gasteiz Ruesga in the 42nd minute of play forced Groove Athletic's goalkeeper Evert Visch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reinaud Goegebeur to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Gaizka Sesma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Swift GTi FDC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaizka Sesma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidensio Contreras kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Groove Athletic's goalkeeper Evert Visch had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guillen Garviras. Gasteiz Ruesga kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Groove Athletic's zone, Gasteiz Ruesga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evert Visch came out of the goal and Gasteiz Ruesga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Jannes De Beer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernan Frade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sidoro Trullols kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Robbrecht Uytebroeck charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robbrecht Uytebroeck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Groove Athletic getting a freekick after 73 minutes play.
