After having played for 21 minutes, Luis Celio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ripa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Celio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sandro Mafra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, Generoso Florin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ripa FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PLURAL the free kick. Generoso Florin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Confesor in the 47th minute of play forced PLURAL's goalkeeper Mariano Avelar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alexandrino Peralta to make the kick off. In the 83rd match minute, PLURAL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Mafra to maneuver through the defense. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
