The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Baltazar Schmidt's late challenge caught a FC Acatar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Schmidt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Jumeuc Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Baltazar Schmidt hit a great ball. Dedé Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 9th match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Iordache Sucigan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Arruda having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudiu Iuzbașa got free with Aníbal Arruda in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Aníbal Arruda made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Remus Pinches sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC Acatar's zone, Jacinto Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Răzvan Bosioc came out of the goal and Jacinto Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 29 played minutes, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Nico Secco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Răzvan Bosioc came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jumeuc Futebol Clube reached it. Aníbal Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Pinches in the 36th minute of the match. Răzvan Bosioc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Albon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anísio Sousa hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Alexandre Albon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Bosioc made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd match minute, Jumeuc Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrick Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calistrat Boboc in the 53rd minute of the match. Remus Pinches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Arruda having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Iordache Sucigan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Aníbal Arruda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 62 played minutes Jumeuc Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Fernandes. Iordache Sucigan kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Alexandre Albon kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Calistrat Boboc hit a great ball. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Edson Sá couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 69th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Acatar. Jumeuc Futebol Clube's Aníbal Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Niță in the 76th minute of play. After 79 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Remus Pincoski. If Remus Pinches had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Pinches recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute, Remus Pinches ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aníbal Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 95th minute, Remus Pinches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Acatar fans cheered their team off the field, for while Jumeuc Futebol Clube had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
