Spectators: 7668 (Terracing: 5751, Seating: 1764, VIP seats: 153) Calenzano's Alfredo Bolognini started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfredo Bolognini during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Calenzano's Alfredo Bolognini got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Calenzano's zone, Eusébio Leão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Gizzi came out of the goal and Eusébio Leão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 8 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Franco Speranza. Ponte do Carro's Lúcio Marques couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 8th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Calenzano. Alfredo Bolognini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Amaro having to interfere. The supporters of Calenzano booed when Ponte do Carro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesualdo Soveral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Bolognini struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rodrigo Amaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calenzano. Carmine Cimino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Amaro having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Enrico Di Gennaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calenzano's Alfredo Bolognini got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ponte do Carro's Rodrigo Amaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrico Di Gennaro in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to Ponte do Carro getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Durval Vidigal hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Enrico Di Gennaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alexandre Lucena took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antonio Gizzi. Antonio Gizzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Rodrigo Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Bolognini in the 38th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Lúcio Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodrigo Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrico Di Gennaro in the 41st minute of the match. Valdemar Pimenta kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mateus Quaresma made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diamantino Guimarães in the 52nd minute of play forced Calenzano's goalkeeper Antonio Gizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diamantino Guimarães recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodrigo Amaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carmine Cimino in the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Ponte do Carro booed when Calenzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edoardo Flocco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateus Quaresma in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Gizzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Diamantino Guimarães came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Ponte do Carro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diamantino Guimarães couldn't finish the play. With his leg Rodrigo Amaro managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Calenzano's Alfredo Bolognini fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Ponte do Carro's Alexandre Lucena got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 74 minutes, Durval Vidigal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ponte do Carro and the Calenzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Durval Vidigal hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Enrico Di Gennaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Bolognini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alfredo Bolognini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calenzano's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Bolognini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Amaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 96 in the game by Alfredo Bolognini from a close distance when the talented Rodrigo Amaro managed to make a qualified save. Ponte do Carro's players were relieved. Calenzano were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Ponte do Carro to leave the ground with a draw.
