After a defensive mix-up in Elite™- FC Galácticos's zone, Marcial Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jarbas Loyola came out of the goal and Marcial Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristóvão Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd match minute, MDQ Raptors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Efren to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the MDQ Raptors FC defense, Raphael de Brito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Apolo Tristan. The MDQ Raptors FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Apolo Tristan should have stopped the shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Onofre to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Cristóvão Maciel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Tristan was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Marcos Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot. MDQ Raptors FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Onofre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jarbas Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 91 played minutes Elite™- FC Galácticos got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo de Mendonça. Cristóvão Maciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Apolo Tristan made a huge save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
