Elberg Largan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Claus in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Bonifacio Pinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Celta de Virgos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Celta de Virgos booed when lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Chorache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Pinto in the 17th minute of play. In the 21st minute Bonifacio Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Celta de Virgos's Elberg Largan got control of the ball when Ulises Frichoso tried to sneak it across the goal line. But to his dismay, Eusebio Presebal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Adrian Odilon was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 34 minutes into the match. Adrian Odilon kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Rogelio Maule was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celta de Virgos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave lןןl BANFIELD FC Lascano the free kick. After 37 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Maule. Saturnino Claus took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elberg Largan. Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marco Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Maule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marco Ihintza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Cloyo in the 43rd minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bonifacio Pinto made a kick off. In the 56th minute Emanuel Uxio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elberg Largan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 64 minutes, Rogelio Maule managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celta de Virgos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Maule was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Carolo Illart fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celta de Virgos's protests and gave Carolo Illart a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Celta de Virgos's Carolo Illart got a free kick in the 68th minute. Marco Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bonifacio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 minutes of play, Celta de Virgos's Bonifacio Pinto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Ihintza was left in no man's land by his defense there!
