Albano Rameriz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Elberg Largan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lisandro Odilon during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MDQ Raptors FC booed when Celta de Virgos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Celta de Virgos defense, Victorio Kismi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elberg Largan. The Celta de Virgos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elberg Largan should have stopped the shot. In the 15th minute, Rogelio Maule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celta de Virgos's Elberg Largan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Onofre in the 16th minute of play. Elberg Largan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcos Onofre went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Bonifacio Pinto put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Apolo Tristan. Elberg Largan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Soin in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Celta de Virgos booed when MDQ Raptors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albano Rameriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Policarpio in the 27th minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Elberg Largan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elberg Largan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Refugio in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Jeremias Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elberg Largan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Leo Cloyo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Tristan was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Apolo Tristan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Pinto in the 41st minute of the match. Apolo Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Pinto in the 47th minute of play. The Celta de Virgos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MDQ Raptors FC were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bonifacio Pinto made a kick off. Eusebio Presebal took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Tristan. Apolo Tristan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After having played for 58 minutes, Eusebio Presebal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celta de Virgos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Presebal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes of play, MDQ Raptors FC's Marcos Onofre made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elberg Largan was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Celta de Virgos getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bartolo Baleren hit a great ball. Celta de Virgos's Elberg Largan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Celta de Virgos from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Pinto in the 71st minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Apolo Tristan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Apolo Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, one of Celta de Virgos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Apolo Tristan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Celta de Virgos's Bonifacio Pinto shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-4 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 90th minute, Carolo Illart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as MDQ Raptors FC's Marcial Refugio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elberg Largan. That made the score 3-5 after 91 minutes of play. 97 minutes into the game, one of MDQ Raptors FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Bonifacio Pinto placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Rogelio Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MDQ Raptors FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
