The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lino Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The referee ignored Limoeiro-PE FC's protests and gave Lino Correia a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Limoeiro-PE FC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Correia. In the 13th minute Damián Burgos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Torreoncito's Héctor Maralla in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Maralla in the 33rd minute of play forced Limoeiro-PE FC's goalkeeper Ricardo Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Secco to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Torreoncito's Rogerio Berguño tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ricardo Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerard Norambuena in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jacinto Chaves hit a great ball. A hard shot 48 in the game by Hugo Magalhães from a close distance when the talented Abner Dohrmann managed to make a qualified save. Torreoncito's players were relieved.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Magalhães to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Héctor Maralla recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ricardo Carneiro. Héctor Maralla showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 59th minute, Guilherme Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Magalhães scored 3-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abner Dohrmann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Torreoncito defense, Vágner de Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abner Dohrmann. The Torreoncito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abner Dohrmann should have stopped the shot. Limoeiro-PE FC's Ricardo Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duardo Larraechea in the 70th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Quintán Paetz rounded Limoeiro-PE FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-2. The supporters of Limoeiro-PE FC booed when Torreoncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Sarmiento didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Magalhães in the 82nd minute of play forced Torreoncito's goalkeeper Abner Dohrmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Torreoncito's Karlos Lizardi got a free kick in the 85th minute. A collision led to Torreoncito getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Rogerio Berguño hit a great ball. The audience held their breath when Cafu Nóbrega in the 88th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Abner Dohrmann's left hand side. Torreoncito's Abner Dohrmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Magalhães in the 90th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Magalhães in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abner Dohrmann saved Torreoncito from getting behind. In the 93rd minute, Hugo Magalhães made a precise shot to the right of Abner Dohrmann. Torreoncito's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. Damián Burgos charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damián Burgos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damián Burgos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Limoeiro-PE FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
