After 5 played minutes Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Napier. After 9 minutes of play, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's Miguel Mano made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aureliano Pacifico was left in no man's land by his defense there! Joaquin Phelipe hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Mano in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aureliano Pacifico saved Academia Club from getting behind. Aureliano Pacifico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Napier in the 17th minute of play. Erubiel Beltran kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Elvio Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Dolfo in the 24th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Mano in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Pacifico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Ubaldo Mateus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Mano in the 29th minute of play forced Academia Club's goalkeeper Aureliano Pacifico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lino Castel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Aureliano Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Mano in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Pacifico prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Academia Club's Joaquin Phelipe got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute, Jeremias Napier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Miguel Mano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Pacifico having to interfere. In the 44th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Nikola to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Mano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Florencio Telesforo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 53rd minute, Dionisio Dolfo made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Niva. Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 56th match minute, Academia Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Phelipe to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aureliano Pacifico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ defense, Dionisio Dolfo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elvio Niva. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elvio Niva should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Telesforo in the 82nd minute of play forced Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goalkeeper Elvio Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Miguel Mano fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's protests and gave Miguel Mano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Mano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Jeremias Napier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aureliano Pacifico. Jeremias Napier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. Miguel Mano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Aureliano Pacifico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Dolfo came free, but Elvio Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ⓕⓤⓢⓘⓞⓝ ⒻⒸ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
