With a little luck, Ocean´s Eleven's Sven-Olof Örtendal got control of the ball when Victorino Conrao tried to sneak it across the goal line. Victorino Conrao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sven-Olof Örtendal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Simpro got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Aresti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulinho Guará in the 23rd minute of play forced Simpro's goalkeeper Victorino Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorino Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Koch in the 25th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Paulinho Guará's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorino Elixio was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Felix Orlondon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emiliano Tiadoro during the 29th minute. Simpro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ocean´s Eleven the free kick. Marcelino Aztore hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Victorino Elixio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krister Koch in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Paulinho Guará put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Victorino Elixio. Thomas Nässén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Elixio having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulinho Guará was the one to do the kick off. Rogelio Geofredo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Beltran charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emiliano Tiadoro in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Olof Örtendal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Ocean´s Eleven's goal looked a bit too open when Emiliano Tiadoro came free, but Sven-Olof Örtendal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emiliano Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Paulinho Guará shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorino Elixio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulrik Kristiansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorino Elixio having to interfere. Emiliano Tiadoro took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Olof Örtendal. Sven-Olof Örtendal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Conrao in the 80th minute of play forced Ocean´s Eleven's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Örtendal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anastasio Rexino's late challenge caught a Ocean´s Eleven's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anastasio Rexino helped the player get up and apologised. Anastasio Rexino hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match.
