Izydor Jaraczewski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Codrin Cucerdean. FC MeHigh's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gabriel Avramescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Zbyszko Bugno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Andrei Tăzlăuanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janusz Marczyniec kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, KP Karmel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Imbor to maneuver through the defense. Zbyszko Bugno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Zgîrţa in the 25th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Gabriel Avramescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Lucjan Jeziorkowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, FC MeHigh's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Grabski came free, but Codrin Cucerdean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrei Tăzlăuanu charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrei Tăzlăuanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KP Karmel booed when FC MeHigh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrei Tăzlăuanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zbyszko Bugno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gabriel Avramescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Traian Onaca made a kick off. After 52 played minutes KP Karmel got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Jeziorkowski. Moise Zgîrţa hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Codrin Cucerdean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Gendolla, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Zbyszko Bugno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Avramescu in the 60th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Edgar Grabski took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Codrin Cucerdean to make any attempt to save it. FC MeHigh made a substitution. Cristian Macaneață replaced Călin Irimia. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrei Tăzlăuanu in the 70th minute of play forced KP Karmel's goalkeeper Zbyszko Bugno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zbyszko Bugno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Avramescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the KP Karmel defense, Gabriel Avramescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbyszko Bugno. The KP Karmel fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbyszko Bugno should have stopped the shot. Codrin Cucerdean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Grabski in the 89th minute of play. Zbyszko Bugno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrei Tăzlăuanu in the 91st minute of play. In the 97th minute Edgar Grabski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Cucerdean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KP Karmel's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
