One of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pagos FC:s goal. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Pagos FC. Alekos Kasoumis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vasile Neața. 1-0. In the 13th match minute, ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Andronescu to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Stoltidis's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitris Stoltidis helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pagos FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Dimitris Stoltidis hit a great ball. Pagos FC were furious when Giorgos Katzelis was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pagos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! The excitement rose when ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Lucrețiu Arotăriței after 26 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Pagos FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-1. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Pagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Siokos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Lucrețiu Arotăriței shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Themis Apostolakoglou showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when Pagos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Grigoris Poursanidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cătălin Octavian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vasile Neața took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoris Poursanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cătălin Octavian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Grigoris Poursanidis came free, but Vasile Neața reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Vasile Neața played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Stoltidis in the 56th minute of play. Vasile Neața made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Stoltidis in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pagos FC's Akis Spanatos got a free kick in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Pagos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Chiriloaie came free, but Themis Apostolakoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Akis Siokos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 69 minutes into the game, Lucrețiu Arotăriței cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Themis Apostolakoglou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute, Lucrețiu Arotăriței sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pagos FC's Themis Apostolakoglou didn't even have to move. Vasile Neața showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theofilos Stamatis, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Pagos FC were awarded a corner. Alekos Kasoumis went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Alekos Kasoumis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Vasile Neața did a great save. Vasile Neața made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoris Poursanidis in the 78th minute of play. Grigoris Poursanidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasile Neața. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grigoris Poursanidis ran back to his position shaking his head. Vasile Neața showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Stoltidis in the 85th minute of the match. Vasile Neața showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigoris Poursanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
